Hot Rolled (HR) Plates are high-grade steel plates created from premium rolling slabs that have a relatively high thickness. Products having a thickness of over 4.5 mm are classified as steel plates, and those having a thickness of over 100 mm are called thick steel plates.
Hot Rolled sheets are more easily formed and can be customized-in terms of size and shape. They are employed in a wide range of sectors, including the transportation, building, and automotive industries.
HR (Hot Rolled) Plates are also ready available in the similar manner as HR Sheets. As per industry norms, material above 4.75 mm thickness are terms as Plates. This is also available in both forms. Standard Length (Company made packets with brand marking) and Customizable Length from HR Coils.
